Brent A. Tippey, P.E.

Brent Tippey, P.E., has been actively involved in programs such as Leadership P.E. and MATHCOUNTS. He is a graduate of Leadership P.E. and the 2002-2003 State MATHCOUNTS Chairman. He is a Bluegrass Chapter member.

Distinguished Service

William Evan Mossbarger, P.E.

A long-time volunteer for KSPE activities, Evan Mossbarger, P.E. has been actively involved in KSPE leadership positions, including having served as KSPE President in 1999-2000. He is a Bluegrass Chapter member.

D.V. Terrell Michael S. Evans, P.E., P.L.S.

Mike Evans, P.E., P.L.S., a Louisville Chapter member devoted to educational programs, especially for children, is a MATHCOUNTS volunteer and former state chairman. He co-founded the Engineers' Club in 2002-2003.

2002-2003 KSPE President Derek Guthrie, P.E., presented Mammoth Cave Chapter President Peter Overmohle, P.E., with the Most Active Chapter Award at the KSPE Annual Convention in Bowling Green, Kentucky, on April 25, 2003.

Practice Section Achievement: Construction

Stephen M. Priebe, P.E.

President of Hall Contracting in Louisville, Kentucky, and member of the Louisville Chapter of KSPE.

Practice Section Achievement: Education Issam E. Harik, Ph.D., E.I.T. Civil (structural) engineering professor at the University of Kentucky and member of the Bluegrass Chapter of KSPE.
Practice Section Achievement: Government Daryl Greer, P.E. Transportation engineering branch manager for KYTC and very active member of the Capital Chapter of KSPE, especially as to leadership in the chapter and state MATHCOUNTS programs.
Practice Section Achievement: Industry William Chris Brewer, P.E. Assistant superintendent of the Barbourville Utility Commission, he is a member of the Pine Mountain Chapter. He is involved in MATHCOUNTS and Engineers in Schools.
Practice Section Achievement: Mining Francis X. Delzer, P.E. Commissioner for the Kentucky Department of Mines and Minerals and a member of the Big Sandy Chapter.
Practice Section Achievement: Private Practice Randall E. Gnau, P.E. A member of the Capital Chapter, he is President and a principal of Municipal Engineering in Frankfort, Kentucky. He is an active KSPE member and officer and an active ACEC-KY member and officer.

President's Award: Kentucky Engineers' Golf Classic Michael C. Harris, P.E. Civil engineer with Jacobi, Toombs & Lantz in Louisville, he is a graduate of Leadership P.E., a MATHCOUNTS volunteer, and chair of the Kentucky Engineers' Golf Classic.

A civil engineer with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, she is a graduate of the charter class of Leadership P.E. (1998) and a MATHCOUNTS volunteer, professional development committee volunteer, and Leadership P.E. volunteer. She is a member of the Louisville Chapter.

Members of the Kentucky Engineering Center Task Force organized by 2002-2003 President Derek Guthrie, P.E.  The task force analyzed the operations of KEC and staff commitment to programs during 2002-2003 to determine critical needs for the Society. All members are Bluegrass Chapter members and past presidents of KSPE, except Robert Mullins, who is a Louisville Chapter member.

Special Appreciation to Engineering Profession William Marcum, P.E.

A member of the Kentucky Lake Chapter of KSPE, he is now retired, but he continues to serve the profession in such ways as being appointed by the Governor of Kentucky to serve on the Kentucky Board of Licensure from 1999-2002.
