D.V. Terrell Award Charles R. (Chuck) Anderson, P.E. Charles (Chuck) Anderson, P.E., is a member of the Louisville Chapter of KSPE. He is a long-time volunteer, Past President of KSPE's Louisville Chapter, a former MATHCOUNTS Chapter Coordinator, 2003-2004 MATHCOUNTS State Chairman, and Louisville Regional VP for KSPE for 2004-2005. He is an owner and director of operations for Strand Associates, Inc.

Distinguished Service Award Derek R. Guthrie, P.E. Derek R. Guthrie, P.E., is a member of the Louisville Chapter of KSPE. He is a long-time volunteer and has served in all chapter and state offices, as a MATHCOUNTS volunteer, and numerous other positions. He is a Past President of KSPE (2002-2003). Guthrie is employed by the Louisville Metropolitan Sewer District as Director of Operations and Engineering and Chief Engineer. April 2004

Daniel Clay Kelly, P.E.

Clay Kelly, P.E., is a member of the Louisville Chapter of KSPE. He is a long-time volunteer and a Class of 2000 Leadership P.E. graduate. He is a partial owner of Strand Associates, Inc. in Louisville, Kentucky, where he is responsible for marketing and development. He has been and continues to be a volunteer for MATHCOUNTS and other programs/events and serves on a number of committees and boards for KSPE and other organizations and technical groups.

Outstanding Contribution to Leadership P.E.

Hans Probst, Jr., P.E.

Hans Probst, Jr., P.E., is a member of the Louisville Chapter of KSPE. He is employed by the US Army Corps of Engineers-Louisville District where he  manages development of Architect & Engineer design services. He is a graduate of the charter class of Leadership P.E., a former member of the US Navy, and is in the US Naval Reserves.

Outstanding Contribution to MATHCOUNTS

Randal S. Williamson, P.E.

Randal S. Williamson, P.E., is a member of the Bluegrass Chapter where he served as Vice President in 2003-2004. He has been a MATHCOUNTS volunteer since 1994 and is credited with initiating changes that created record-setting results for Kentucky's MATHCOUNTS program. He has been MATHCOUNTS State Chairman and a member of the state committee for several years.

Practice Section: Achievement in Education Award Buxton Johnson, Ph.D. Dr. Buxton Johnson is the director of the dual-degree engineering program at Kentucky Wesleyan and is the Faculty Advisor to the Kentucky Wesleyan Student Engineering Society that is affiliated with the Green River Chapter of the Kentucky Society of Professional Engineers.  The student society participates annually in the regional MATHCOUNTS competition and sponsors meetings of engineering societies, including the Kentucky Society of Professional Engineers and the American Society of Civil Engineers April 2004
Practice Section: Achievement in Government Award Marilyn Lewis, P.E. Marilyn Lewis, P.E., is a member of the Louisville Chapter of KSPE. She is involved in local and state programs for the Society, including the nationally renowned MATHCOUNTS program for middle school achievement in mathematics and Leadership P.E., of which she was a charter class member (1998). She is currently serving as chair of Leadership P.E. and participates as an instructor.  April 2004
